May is officially over, graduations hopefully are in the books and as we turn the calendar to June hopefully we get some weather to go with it.

I say this because I’m tired of Rockies games being delayed or postponed. I’m ready to run out stacks of players at Coors Field without worry.

There will be a lot of question marks on today’s slate.

Namely, who will start for the Rockies and Dodgers? Is Kershaw a good option? Is Mike Pelfrey for real or is this the time he finally gets hit around?

There is a ton of great pitchers going today as well. So, let’s get into it. Here are my Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks for Monday, June 1st.

Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks for Monday

Starting Pitchers

Felix Hernandez: The King is my top pitcher today. He is at home which is a nice pitchers park. He is facing the Yankees who have been struggling a bit as of late. The only knock on the King is that the win may be hard to come by because it’s not like the Mariners are exactly knocking the cover off the ball.

Clayton Kershaw: I’m only playing him in tournaments. I don’t care what he did against the Braves.

Jacob De Grom: He is worse on the road but it’s the Padres in Petco. Will be my second pitcher option.

Yasmani Grandal: If you are paying up for catcher, pay up for Grandal. He’s good at home and now he gets an extreme park shift to Colorado. My top catcher.

Jordan Pacheco: Cheap punt option in a home-run friendly park.

First Basemen

Paul Goldschmidt: No one will miss Milwaukee more than Goldy but guess what? He’s at home in a hitter friendly park and his price tag reflects his performance. Will be tough to fit in.

David Ortiz: Under performing but gets Mike Pelfrey and Ortiz is a rightie masher. I’m still waiting for the Pelfrey blow-up and I can feel it coming in the air tonight. By the way Ortiz is $2600 on FanDuel. No, that is not a typo.

Second Basemen

Dee Gordon: I love me some Dee Gordon. I love him even more against Jason Hammel. His price tag isn’t cheap and rightfully so he’s batting .367 in his last 7 games.

Joe Panik: A cheap option who is a much better hitter at home. He is usually batting 2nd as well.

Third Basemen

Josh Donaldson: Until he cools off, I’m not fading him.

Yunel Escobar: Escobar has been batting 3rd as of late and he can be had for cheap across all sites.

P U N T: Hanley Ramirez is too expensive unless you are running a Red Sox stack. Troy Tulowitzki is always an option but you will pay.

CaptureMookie Betts: Batting .330 in his last 10 games. He has attempted a steal in his last 3 games and we all love steal both in real life and in fantasy.

Joc Pederson: I know, an obvious play but batting lead off for LA in Coors. Ok, I guess I’ll bite.

Preston Tucker: Tucker has been on fire and been rewarded with batting 3rd in the order. He is a good cheap option.

Top Stack Not in the Colorado Game: Boston Red Sox

Sneaky Stack: Houston Astros

(Despite being shut out by John Stanks, I think people won’t forget and fade them.)

OK, there we have my Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks for Monday, June 1st. Good Luck and Hopefully, you are able to dominate.
