Last week we took a week off from Fantasy Baseball to discuss the NFL Draft Winners & Losers. This week myself, Joe, and A.J. are excited to get back to some baseball talk.
First we want to let our resident Eagles fan give his thoughts on Sam Bradford ending his “holdout” and returning to the Eagles. Bradford says he is ready to move on and take this team to a championship. I’m not sure I agree, but I let A.J., the avid Eagles fan speak on it.
We start off by diving into some of the stars who are still struggling. We talk for just about the entire month of April about slow starts and not to panic and overreact.
Now it has been over a month, so at this point is it starting to become more than just a poor start? Do we think these players will turn things around or is this looking like something of a more long term issue?
We discuss players such as Max Scherzer, Justin Upton, Dallas Keuchel and more.
Injuries and Waiver Wire
There were quite a few injuries last week that have really affected Fantasy Baseball rosters. We give the major updates and advice for how to move on without some of these key players, such as Garrett Richards.
We invite Rob Moccio, resident writer for SCFE, back to the show to give some waiver wire adds you should seriously consider this week, especially if you have one of the aforementioned injuries affecting your team.
This week A.J.’s rant is a special one. It has absolutely nothing to do with Fantasy Baseball or Football, but it still may be the best one he has had yet. It leaves me speechless… more in shock than anything, but still speechless.
We finish with Twitter/Call-in questions. Each week we try to answer all your questions on air. So send them in to @fantasysixpack or @AppleGarthAlgar or call-in and hear your questions get answered live on air.
