We have made it to the 10th week of the season and yet another Injury Report. Playoffs are just around the corner.
Time to make a push for the tourney. If you make the playoffs, you can win the ship.
This week we find the Chargers, Colts, 49ers, and Falcons on a bye. The Bills and Jets played a less than thrilling until the end game on Thursday.
There are lots of big games coming and some great Fantasy matchups on the slate for this week.
To get you fully prepared for Sunday, let’s take a look at the Week 10 Injury Report.
Week 10 Injury Report
John Brown, WR
Brown was limited in practice all week. He is listed as questionable for this week. Coming off a bye, I would expect to see him play in a pivotal game for the Cardinals.
Crockett Gillmore, TE
Gillmore was limited in practice early in the week, but is trending up. He is listed as probable for this week.
Jonathan Stewart, RB
Stewart was limited in practice early in the week, but is likely to play Sunday. He has a bit of an ankle injury and will probably find rest in the early portion of the week for the rest of the season. A full practice on Friday has him listed as probable.
Matt Forte, RB
Forte received an injection of platelet rich plasma last week in an effort to speed his recovery. This week he has been limited early in practice. Forte is officially listed as questionable this week. I wouldn’t expect to see Forte this week, but make sure on Sunday.
Alshon Jeffery, WR
Jeffery suffered a groin injury in practice on Wednesday and was not present in practice on Thursday. Friday saw Jeffery return to a limited practice and earn himself a questionable designation. You will need to make sure he is active on Sunday.
Eddie Royal, WR
Royal is out this week.
No Fantasy relevant injuries to report.
No skill position players in danger.
Dez Bryant, WR
Bryant was limited on Thursday after missing practice on Wednesday. This should be the progression you are used to for the rest of the season. Dez will likely play this week.
Peyton Manning, QB
Manning has a foot injury that had him limited in practice on Thursday after missing practice on Wednesday. The missed practice on Wednesday is a normal thing for Manning, but Thursday was an anomaly. Expect him to play this week.
Emmanuel Sanders, WR
Sanders, who has been suffering from both a shoulder injury and an ankle injury, was not in practice on Wednesday or Thursday. Sanders has been able to play so far with his shoulder, but may be in serious doubt this week. He is officially a game-time decision this week.
Calvin Johnson, WR
Johnson was limited in practice on Wednesday and Thursday. Johnson sustained an ankle injury two weeks ago and the fact that he is limited this week is either a bad sign or the team is keeping him fresh. Johnson trended down on Friday after missing practice. I do not have confidence in him this week. He may be active, but his capacity and ability are in doubt.
Green Bay Packers
Eddie Lacy, RB
Lacy was limited on Wednesday and Thursday with a groin injury. His job seems to have been taken over by James Starks. His level of activity this weekend is likely to be a bit more limited than in previous weeks if he is active. His official designation is questionable, but he is likely to suit up this week.
James Jones, WR
Jones was limited on Thursday with a quad injury. Jones has fallen off a bit lately and an injury is not going to help his cause. Jones was listed as probable after another limited practice on Friday.
Ty Montgomery, WR
Montgomery was limited in practice on Wednesday and Thursday. This is a positive step for what is likely a high ankle sprain that is now in the fourth week of healing. This is the second week he has been able to put in limited practices. Keep an eye on the inactive list to see if Montgomery is going to play this week. Friday saw him get a questionable designation for this week.
Nate Washington, WR
Washington was limited in practice on Thursday with a hip injury. Friday saw Washington put in a full practice. It is still likely that Washington will be active on Monday night.
Allen Hurns, WR
Hurns missed practice on both Wednesday and Thursday this week. He was seen in a walking boot last week and has been dealing with nagging injuries for weeks. He earned a questionable tag after getting in a limited practice on Friday.
Marqise Lee, WR
Lee has popped his head out of his injury hole at exactly right time. With Allen Hurns hurting, Lee has turned in two limited practices to start for the Jaguars. Friday saw him put in a full practice. Lee would be in line for some solid work if Hurns is inactive and he can actually suit up on Sunday.
Kansas City Chiefs
No Fantasy relevant injuries to report.
Jordan Cameron, TE
Cameron was limited early in the week, but he is probable after returning to a full practice on Friday. Expect to see him on Sunday.
Teddy Bridgewater, QB
Bridgewater has been limited in practice this week after taking a shot and sustaining a concussion last week. As of Friday, he has not passed the concussion protocol. He is questionable this week. Bridgewater owners will need to make sure he is active on Sunday.
New England Patriots
Julian Edelman, WR
Edelman was limited early this week, but turned in a full practice on Friday. He is listed as probable for Sunday.
New Orleans Saints
Willie Snead, WR
Snead was limited on Wednesday and was then out of practice on Thursday. Friday saw him return to a limited practice and he is listed as probable for this weekend. Make sure he is active, but expect him in the lineup on Sunday.
New York Giants
Larry Donnell, TE
Donnell is out this week against the Patriots.
Latavius Murray, RB
Murray sustained a concussion last week. The good news is that he has passed the protocol and was a full participant in practice on Friday. Expect to have him available to you this week.
Amari Cooper, WR
Cooper missed practice on Wednesday with a quad injury. He has put in two full practices after that and is listed as probable for this week.
Nothing to report here.
Ben Roethlisberger, QB
Roethlisberger was a limited participant in practice late in the week, but it is not likely that he will be able to play this week. Keep an eye on the inactives this week, but don’t expect him.
DeAngelo Williams, RB
Williams was out of practice on Wednesday, but was a full participant on Thursday and Friday. He should be active on Sunday.
San Diego Chargers
Marshawn Lynch, RB
Lynch was added to the practice report and listed as questionable Friday with an abdominal injury. This is a new injury and you will need to monitor news about him on Sunday. If you have Thomas Rawls, you can feel okay, but as this is a Sunday night game, it is a late decision.
San Francisco 49ers
St. Louis Rams
Nothing to report for the Rams.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Vincent Jackson, WR
Jackson is out this week for the Bucs.
Austin Seferian-Jenkins, TE
It looks increasingly doubtful that ASJ will play this week. Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay times reported on Friday that Seferian-Jenkins has not been cleared for full contact. Check Sunday to see if he is active, but don’t expect him this week.
Dexter McCluster, RB
McCluster is probable this week with an ankle injury. He is expected to play on Sunday for the Titans.
Kendall Wright, WR
Wright is out this week for the Titans.
No major Fantasy relevant injuries to report.
And this brings us to the end of the Week 10 Injury Report. This is a collection of the most up to date injury information prior to the inactive list on Sunday morning. Remember to keep an eye on your player’s status on game day. Good luck this week everyone.
