Well folks we made it through the week. It’s Friday. One game is already in the books for Week 2.

Week 1 was a great time. Lots of good games, and great performances by players.

Sadly some of the players during the week sustained an injury. Some of these players are on the Week 2 Injury Report

Herein we will be taking a look at the Week 2 Injury Report. Some new names were added and a few fell off the report.

What does it all mean for your Fantasy teams this week? Lets find out together.

Week 2 Injury Report

Arizona Cardinals

Andre Ellington, RB

Ellington has not practiced this week and you should assume that he will not be playing in Week 2. Ellington suffered a PCL injury in last week’s game and will be out for at least this week.

Atlanta Falcons

Julio Jones, WR

Jones has not practiced for the second day in a row with a hamstring injury. Falcons coach Dan Quinn said that there was “No Doubt” Jones would play this week. Now coaches have been known to lie, but after a lot of action on Monday night, it isn’t shocking to rest Jones. Just make sure to check back for the final practice report of the week where we will hopefully see Julio practice.

Baltimore Ravens

Justin Forsett, RB

Forsett was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday with a shoulder injury, but he returned to full practice on Thursday. Check back for the Friday practice update to make sure, but expect Forsett to play in Week 2.

Lorenzo Taliaferro, RB

Taliaferro was a full participant in practice this week. Expect him to play and possibly to get the goal line work in the offense. If you have room, definitely consider rostering him, especially since Forsett is already a little banged up.

Breshad Perriman, WR

Perriman remains out with a PCL injury.

Buffalo Bills

LeSean McCoy, RB

McCoy was a limited participant in practice on Thursday with an aggravation of his previous hamstring injury. Enterprising Fantasy owners will have handcuffed McCoy with Karlos Williams. This is not a new injury for McCoy, and he was able to play despite it last week. Make sure to check back for the Friday practice report update to see what is happening with McCoy.

Carolina Panthers

Jonathan Stewart, RB

Stewart was a limited participant on Wednesday, but returned to full practice on Thursday. Expect Stewart to play this week.

Cleveland Browns

Josh McCown, QB

McCown left Week 1 with a concussion. He has not been cleared to play yet in Week 2. Word out of Browns camp is that if McCown is cleared he will get the start. Check back to see what the Friday practice report divulges.

Johnny Manziel, QB

Manziel has been limited this week with a sore arm. If Josh McCown cannot go, Manziel will get the start. Check back for the Friday practice report to see what their status is.

Detroit Lions

Golden Tate, WR

Tate was a limited participant on Thursday, a day after missing practice with a quad injury. Tate will be an interesting watch for the Friday practice report to see if he progresses. Check back and see what Tate’s status is.

Green Bay Packers

Randall Cobb, WR

Cobb is another week removed from his AC joint sprain. This should be leading him to feeling better. Cobb was a limited participant in the first two days of practice this week, but should be expected to play. The Seahawks, for what it’s worth, have been playing Richard Sherman in the slot, will put their best foot forward to stop Cobb this week. Check back to make sure there is no downgrade in Cobb’s status, but expect him to play.

Bryan Bulaga, OT

Bulaga left practice early on Thursday with a knee injury. Bulaga was first thought to have an ACL injury, but was later found to only have a sprained MCL. It is currently unclear if Bulaga will play this week. Facing the Seahawks, the Packers could sure use their full complement of offensive linemen. Check back for the Friday practice to see what his status is.

Houston Texans

Arian Foster, RB

Foster returned to practice this week in a limited fashion. Foster will not play this week, but he is getting closer every day to returning to action for the Texans. Check back next week to see the progression of Foster.

Indianapolis Colts

T.Y. Hilton, WR

Hilton left last week with a knee bruise. He has been listed as day to day. Hilton is not expected to play this week. The fact that the Colts will play Monday night is a confounding fact. Unless you have another player to use on Monday night, don’t get Hilton into your lineup this week.

Jacksonville Jaguars

Rashsad Greene, WR

Greene was a surprise in the Jags offense last week. Sadly he sustained both a concussion and a back contusion in Week 1. The good news is that after being a limited participant on Wednesday, Greene returned to full practice on Thursday. Keep an eye on this target magnet.

Marqise Lee, WR

Lee was a Limited participant so far this week. Lee seems to be in the dog house with the coaching staff due to his limited availability on a long term basis. It would be shocking to me if he was owned, but check back to see an update to his status if you own Lee.

Julius Thomas, TE

Thomas remains out with a hand injury.

Miami Dolphins

Dion Sims, TE

Lewis remains out so far this week after sustaining a concussion in Week 1. Check back to see if Lewis is cleared from the concussion protocol before the weekend.

New Orleans Saints

C.J. Spiller, RB

Spiller was a limited participant on Wednesday and Thursday this week after preseason knee surgery. It is still unclear what his status will be for week two. Check back to see what his status is on Friday to get a clue as to whether he will be active this week.

New York Jets

Chris Ivory, RB

Ivory was a limited participant in practice Thursday. This is not surprising as veteran running backs are often either limited in practice or out of the first practice of the week. Check back to make sure he doesn’t take a downgrade, but expect Ivory to play on Monday night.

Antonio Cromartie, CB

Cromartie suffered a knee injury in Week 1 and is unlikely to play. This is Fantasy relevant because it will help out the Fantasy chances of the Indianapolis Colts.

San Diego Chargers

D.J. Fluker, OG

Fluker, the tackle turned guard for the Chargers has a high ankle sprain. Expect him to miss four to six weeks for San Diego, and their run game to take a small step down.

San Francisco 49ers

Reggie Bush, RB

Bush suffered a calf injury early in the Week 1 game against the Vikings. Bush has not practiced this week, and I would not expect him this week.

St. Louis Rams

Todd Gurley, RB

Gurley has been listed as a full participant in practice this week. It is unclear what his role will be this week, but it has been 10 months since Gurley tore his ACL and a full recovery is within the timetable. Check back and be ready to possibly plug Gurley into your lineups.

Tre Mason, RB

Mason suffered a hamstring injury in the preseason and missed Week 1 against Seattle. This week Mason has been a full participant in practice. In addition, Todd Gurley has been a full participant, so it is unclear what the roles will be at this point. Check back to see practice reports from Friday, and maybe further insights.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Mike Evans, WR

Evans has been on the practice field this week in a limited fashion. This is a positive step, and at this point I would expect that he would play in Week 2, but check back to see the Friday practice reports.

Tennessee Titans

Delanie Walker, TE

Walker has not practiced this week after sustaining a hand injury in the Titans first game. Walker has been an integral part of the Titans offense and you should check back to see what his status was during Friday’s practice.

Washington Redskins

DeSean Jackson, WR

Jackson suffered a hamstring injury early in Washington’s first game. Jackson is likely to miss a few weeks. Don’t expect him to play for multiple weeks.

Jordan Reed, TE

Reed suffered a minor quad injury on Thursday. Reed was limited in practice, but expected to play this week. Check back to make sure he doesn’t suffer a downgrade.

This has been a good look at the Fantasy relevant players for this week. The Week 2 injury report makes you take a deep look at your roster, while deciding to keep a player or let him go. The decisions don’t get easier, but I will be here for you the rest of the season. As every week there will be an update on Saturday to keep you posted on any changes to players status before game day. Thanks for reading and good luck this week.
