Everyone is entitled to an off week, right?  Had I reversed who I liked more (Owen Daniels) with who I liked less (Tyler Eifert), I would have been gloating beyond belief. I am absolutely stunned by both players’ performances last week. How does Owen Daniels not record a catch against a Raiders defense that was absolutely defenseless against tight ends?

To show you how unpredictable Fantasy Football can be at times, how about Tyler Eifert’s performance against Seattle last week? Seattle had been playing great defense or maybe it was more a product of the offenses they have been playing. As a product of Eifert’s performance, I traded for him this week in one of my leagues. ‘If you can’t beat em’, join em’!

Let’s not dwell on the past but focus on the future. The So Called Fantasy Experts Week 6 Rankings are the place to find the top performer of the week and it is Jacob Tamme of the Atlanta Falcons. Although he is ranked 17th overall, we are targeting him as a “money” play this week.  Later on in this article, I will elaborate as to what I like about such an obscure player.

Charles Clay is one player who I like less this week. He is ranked 7th overall, but I would like to stay away from him this week for good reason.

My excitement and anticipation for this week is high and my expectations are strong as we will get back to the flawlessness that we had the two weeks prior.

Tight End Rankings Reaction

Who I Like More

Jacob Tamme, Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saints

Jacob Tamme is the man this week! Julio Jones is clearly not healthy and will most likely be limited, although he is listed as probable. With Julio less than 100 percent last week, we saw an increase in Tamme’s production. He saw 10 targets and converted on eight of them for 94 yards and a touchdown. There is no reason to believe this will not continue tonight.

Jacob Tamme is facing the New Orleans Saints this week. The Saints have given up nine touchdowns and over 1,400 yards through the air and much of that production came via the tight end. They have given up four touchdowns over the past five weeks and are currently the third-worst against tight ends this year. Again, with a limited Julio and a defense that cannot stop the TE, we have the potential for a strong week out of Tamme.

Who I Like Less

Charles Clay, Buffalo Bills vs. Cincinnati Bengals

I am definitely concerned about Tyrod Taylor’s health at this time. There were reports that he has a knee sprain, which would keep him out of this week’s game. Then on Wednesday, Rex Ryan denied the reports that Taylor would miss Week 6. With E.J. Manuel at the helm, Clay’s outlook becomes much more grim in my opinion. Manuel has been a disappointment after being given many chances to succeed.

Additionally, the Bengals have been brutal vs. the tight end; they have not yet surrendered a touchdown to any tight end this year and I don’t expect that to change this week. The total in this game is a modest 42.5, which I expect will mostly be scored by the Bengals considering they have been on fire no matter who the defense has been. The Bills defense will be on the field a lot due to an offense that will be anemic without Taylor and possibly without both LeSean McCoy and Karlos Williams.

This is a week where we turn it around and enjoy a Fantasy Football feast catered by Jacob Tamme.  Sit back and relax as we are headed for a successful week.  The So-Called Fantasy Experts will lead you down the road to success this week- book it!
